Students who have arranged their own study abroad program (studying at an overseas university not through an exchange program with the Global Learning Office) should register their details through this program. This process is for students who are:

Registering will allow you to arrange credit approval with your faculty, obtain information about the University's travel insurance and receive Global Learning updates. Additionally, you will be considered for any available scholarships for which you may be eligible.

Funding

The University of Adelaide has now introduced the Global Learning Travel Grant, designed to help fund and support students undertaking international education as part of their degree. From January 2017 students completing a semester long program overseas will receive $2000 and students completing a short program will receive $500. Further details and eligibility requirements can be found here.

Funding for your program may also be available to eligible students through the OS-HELP loan scheme.

Travel insurance is provided by the University of Adelaide free of charge.

Students will not be enrolled at the University of Adelaide when completing these study abroad opportunities and should be aware that this may affect payments from Centrelink.

Please note: If you are wishing to apply for an overseas program through the Global Learning Office, you should not click Apply Now here. Please return to the program list and choose a program from our offerings. More information can be found on the Global Learning website and at our information sessions.

You should only click Apply Now if you have already made application for your study abroad experience.

Registering here does not make these arrangements for you.
