Students who have arranged an overseas experience for which they will not receive credit or recognition towards a required component of their degree, but are otherwise formally approved to undertake their overseas experience, should register their details here.
Registering will also allow you to receive travel safety services, obtain information about the University's travel insurance, and receive Study Overseas updates.
Timing
Study Overseas recommends that students confirm their approval for undertaking their experience before paying any deposits or other non-refundable arrangements. Students should also familiarise themselves with the eligibility criteria and processing timeframes for any associated funding sources.
Travel insurance is provided by the University free of charge for students on formally approved overseas experiences. Exclusions apply; please refer to the Insurance Guide for more information.
When to apply
You should only click Apply Now if you have already arranged an experience through your faculty or another provider. Registering here in the system will not make these arrangements for you.
