Program Description:

2020 AU
 
This two week winter school program taking place at Aarhus University Winter School in January 2020, will be taught by a team of professors who have excellent academic profiles and work experience from both the public and private sector.

Students attending Aarhus Winter School in 2020 can choose to attend one of the following courses:  

 

Each course is worth a total of 10 ECTS and consists of a mixture of both lectures, classroom workshops, discussions and exercises. In addition to attending lectures and other classroom activities students are expected to prepare according to their instructiors guidelines - both prior to arrival and during the program

Program Dates

This Winter School program takes place from 6 January to 17 January, 2020



Applications and Deadlines

1. Students must submit their initial application to Study Overseas by clicking 'Apply Now' by September 30, 2019.

2. Study Overseas will nominate selected students to Aarhus University.

3. Students will be required to completed a subsequent application to Aarhus University by 1 November, 2019.

Students are advised to book flights only when Faculty approval has been confirmed and formal acceptance from Aarhus University has been received.



Program Costs and Finances

Students will enrol into and pay tuition for the appropriate exchange course at the University of Adelaide as advised by their faculty. The tuition fee will be waived at the Aarhus University for nominated students.Students will need to cover airfares, accommodation, and general living expenses.

Please note that students will be liable for the appropriate tuition/HECS payments at the University of Adelaide in addition to any overseas program fee at Aarhus Winter School.



Financial Assistance

Eligible students may also access up to AUD$6,791 of funding from an OS-Help loan.

Travel insurance is provided by the University of Adelaide free of charge.

Students are advised to book flights only when Faculty approval has been sought and admission into the Aarhus Winter School has been confirmed.



Credit and Enrolment

Students will enrol in the appropriate University of Adelaide course as advised by their academic Faculty. It is at the discretion of their Faculty what academic credit each student is eligible to receive.

Students are advised to book flights only when Faculty approval has been sought and admission into the Winter School has been confirmed. Please note that students will be traveling independently to Denmark. This is a regarded as a short-term exchange, rather than a study tour led by University of Adelaide staff.

Note for Faculty of Professions students: courses at Aarhus University Winter School have been pre-approved for the below Adelaide courses:
