Program Description:
New York

Are you interested in stepping into the world of business and communication in New York City? Would you like to experience what it is like to live and work in FiDi (the Financial District)? Imagine glancing across the East River to the towering bollards of the Brooklyn Bridge as you grab a coffee before jumping on the subway to your first appointment of the day! You can be part of that morning commute, and work closely with industry partners based in and around Manhattan to give you a sneak peek into your future career. On weekends you could shop in SoHo or head uptown to check out the latest exhibition at the Met or the Guggenheim or rug up and wander through Central Park or ice skate at the Rockefeller Centre. You can be experience of all of this if you take part in the 2020 New York Study Tour.
This is a two week intensive study tour to New York, New York, USA. Whist on the tour, students will work closely with successful Manhattan based senior managers and experience firsthand the opportunities and challenges that businesses are faced within this fast-paced city. All of your existing knowledge in business and communication skills will be put to work in an environment where excellence is applauded, and competition is tough. These are things that cannot be taught in a classroom.

This New York visit runs from 17 January to 4 February, 2020.
